The search that came up empty
Somnii started as a conversation between two friends. Between us, we had four children under the age of five.
We looked for something that actually supported the woman behind the "mom." We searched for a brand that understood the physical toll of the mental load and the emotional cost of losing your identity. We found "self-care" candles, "Mama Bear" mugs, and "Wine Mom" jokes.
We found a lot of noise, but zero solutions. So we stopped looking for one and started building it.
An industry left behind
Maternal wellness is a strangely overlooked industry. Most products on the market focus on the baby or the "bounce back."
Wellness for mothers has been reduced to "me-time" and bubble baths.
We define it differently. To us, wellness is Autonomy + Vitality. It is the ability to move through your day without feeling like your nervous system is on fire. It’s about science-literate choices that address the biological reality of the maternal drain.
We realized that motherhood is a math problem that doesn’t add up. The physical depletion is real. The social isolation is real.
We focus on the non-negotiables.
The physical gap
Your body is running on cortisol and a mineral deficit. We fixed the chemistry first with a high-performance ritual—Creatine for the brain, Magnesium for the nerves, L-Theanine for the noise.
The emotional gap
The "village" is gone, replaced by logistics and school schedules. We built Somnii Sessions to act as a bridge back to real connection.
Physics first. Connection second.
We built Somnii on a simple law of physics: you cannot pour from an empty cup.
We aren't here to help you "cope" or "manage." We are here to help you refill your reserves so you have the capacity to be yourself again.
We are two mothers who refused to accept "tired" as a personality trait.
Welcome to the recovery
